댄스노래방은 노래방의 개념을 춤으로 전환한 것이다. 

먼저 도시에 거주하는 사람들에게 그들의 환경, 즉 집이나 직장 또는 놀이터나 도시의 다양한 장소에서 

우리 카메라 앞에 서서 직접 선택한 곡에 맞춰 자발적으로 춤을 춰달라고 부탁한다. 

이렇게 얻은 동영상 데이터를 기반으로 클럽이나 극장 이벤트의 일부로 선보이는 동영상 댄스 클립을 만든다. 

댄스노래방 이벤트의 방문객들은 가장 마음에 들고 맞춰 춤추고 싶은 클립을 선택한다. 

이 클립들은 여러 사람이 춤을 출 수 있는 댄스 플로어 앞의 대형 스크린에 영사된다. 

이벤트는 DJ가 진행한다. 댄스노래방은 함께 춤추는 옛 전통을 되살리고자 엔터테인먼트 산업의 설정을 차용한다. 

댄스노래방은 '스타 숭배' 세대의 흔적을 쫓고 '언제든지 발견될 수 있다'는 현시대의 현상을 풍자한다.

Dance karaoke transfers the idea of song karaoke to dance. 

We ask residents of a city to spontaneously dance to a song of their choice in front of our camera in their own environment, in their home, 

work or on the playground or in urban areas. 

From the video material obtained, we create video dance clips that are presented as part of a club / theater event. The visitors of the dance karaoke event choose 

their favorite clip to which they want to dance. 

The clips are projected onto a large screen in front of a dance floor, where several people can dance. The event is led by a DJ. 

Dance karaoke wants to revive the old tradition of dancing together and borrows the setting from the entertainment industry. 

Dance karaoke traces the “star cult” generation and caricatures this contemporary phenomenon of “being able to be discovered at any time”.

도너의 월드 투어 작품에는 무대용 작품과 장소 특정적 퍼포먼스가 포함되어 있다. 도너는 그림과 영상물, 시각 예술에도 관심이 많다. 전 세계 100개 이상의 도시에서 선보인 라이브 퍼포먼스 '도시 공간 속 몸(bodies in urban spaces)'에 대한 사진집을 사진작가 리사 라스틀(Lisa Rastl)과 함께 만들었다. 또한 'Osterreichischer Tanzproduktionspreis 2000'을 비롯하여 다수의 다른 국제 안무 콘테스트에서 수상한 바 있다. 도너는 '도시 공간 속 몸' 퍼포먼스로 2011년 학제 간 예술을 위한 블라우라우트 상(BLAULAUT- Price)을 수상했다.

His internationally touring artistic work include pieces for the stage as well as site specific performances.

He also has a great interest in photography, film and visual arts. Together with the photographer Lisa Rastl he created the photo book ?bodies in urban spaces“ about the live performance of the same name, which was presented in more than 100 cities world wide He was awarded with the “Osterreichischer Tanzproduktionspreis 2000” as well as in numerous other international choreography competitions.

For his performance ?bodies in urban spaces“ he received the BLAULAUT- Price for inter- disciplinary art in 2011.

Awards for his films include Pearls 07 ? International Dance Film Festival Berlin and Choreographic Captures ? Munich film festival 2009.

Architecture Film Prize for “every-one” (2017) presented his interventions, photographs and films at ART Basel, CH; Turner Contemporary, Margate, UK; Lentos Museum, Linz.
