2015년 시민 참여 대형 퍼포먼스 “그랜드 콘티넨탈”의 맥을 잇는 안산국제거리극축제의 시그니처 프로그램

어김없이 돌아온 봄. 그리고 봄의 막바지를 물들였던 안산국제거리극축제. 시민과 앰비규어스댄스컴퍼니의 열정 가득한 춤이 축제의 서막을 알린다. 만개한 꽃이 시민의 마음속에 꽃을 피우듯, 시민의 다양한 움직임 하나하나가 축제를 찾는 모든 이들의 마음속에 꽃이 되어 꽂힌다. 작년에 이어 올해도 앰비규어스댄스컴퍼니와 서울예대 무용과가 참여해 시민 참여 대형 퍼포먼스의 풍미를 더한다.

This Ansan Street Arts Festival's signature program follows in the footsteps of 2015's "Grand Continental", a large performance with citizen participation.

Spring is back! And so is the Ansan Street Arts Festival, which welcomes each spring with a bang. Passionate dances by citizens and Ambiguous Dance Company signify the festival's launch. The blooming flowers awaken the hearts of citizens, and every one of their motions blooms as a flower in the heart of each festival spectator. Ambiguous Dance Company and Seoul Institute of the Arts' Dance Program return to add a kick to the grand performances with citizen participation.

앰비규어스 댄스컴퍼니
앰비규어스댄스컴퍼니는 진실한 언어란 ‘몸’을 통해 표현하는 음악과 춤이라는 믿음을 바탕으로, 현대무용의 고정관념을 탈피하고 관객과 친근하게 소통하는 작품을 만드는 단체이다. 이날치의 <범 내려온다>, 세계적인 록밴드 콜드플레이의 에서 독특한 음악적 해석과 개성 넘치는 안무를 선보이며 세계의 이목을 끌고 있다.

연희커퍼니 유희
연희컴퍼니 유희는 ‘당신에게 기쁨을 드리겠습니다.’라는 뜻의 ‘YOU-喜’이다. 옛 한국인에게 익숙한 놀이자 일상인 연희를 오늘날의 시각으로 재해석하여 관객이 쉽게 즐길 수 있도록 창작하는 단체이다.

준도
준도는 무아지경으로 춤을 추는 무당의 모습에서 레이브를 발견하고, 전자음악적 해석을 통해 전통 굿을 현대적으로 해석하는 테크노 아티스트이다. 대표작으로 <당클매다>, <신명: 풀림과 맺음> 등이 있다.

Ambiguous Dance Company
With the belief that true language is music and dance expressed through the body, Ambiguous Dance Company breaks contemporary dance stereotypes and creates friendly performances that interact with spectators. With Leenalchi's "Tiger Is Coming" and Coldplay's "Higher Power", Ambiguous Dance Company shows off its unique musical interpretations and distinctive choreography, attracting world attention.

U-hee Company
U-hee Company gives joy - or "hee (Korean pronunciation of Chinese character meaning joy)" - to YOU, hence the name "U-hee". U-hee Company reinterprets traditional Korean "Yeonhui" performance arts from a modern perspective, making it easy for modern spectators to enjoy.

Jundo
Jundo, the techno artist who discovered a rave style in the trance-like dances of shamans, brings a modern interpretation to shamanic exorcisms through electronic music. Jundo's works include "Spirit Awaits" and "Spirits Untangled".
